Celebrated textile designer Lisa Fine finds inspiration across the globe. Fine’s extensive travels along “The Silk Road” in China and the  Middle East, her countless trips to India, and the yearly tours to Europe with The Institute of Classical Architecture influence both her textile collection and her personal interiors.  The vibrant colors and patterns found in India were her original inspiration. Recent additions of romantic chintz florals to her collection create a timeless mix of the exotic and the traditional that is signature of her style.

Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Fine now lives between New York and Dallas. Lisa Fine Textiles can be found in 19 showrooms around the world, including London, Paris and Madrid.  Her work has appeared in Elle Decor, House Beautiful, The New York Times, The Herald Tribune, The World of Interiors, Milieu, Veranda, House & Garden UK, Vogue and Cabana. Fine worked as a contributing editor for Elle Decor and House Beautiful while living in Paris.  She is currently a contributing editor for Town & Country. Her book Near & Far, Interiors I love was
published by Vendome in 2019.

In the forward to Near & Far Deborah Needleman wrote:
“The paradox of the rooms Lisa makes and the textiles she designs is that they manage to feel adventurous to the outside world, and at the
same time enveloping complete worlds into themselves.”

Fine’s passion for travel and design is infectious, as she recounts endless tales of faraway places and colorful personalities.
